Our New Years Style Resolutions

2022 is already shaping up to be an interesting year in fashion, and at Violet x Grace, we are swapping the standard New Year resolutions for something we can actually get into: style resolutions.

To lend us a helping hand, we reached out to 3 women with impeccable taste and asked them to tell us about their style resolutions for the year ahead. Read on for New Years resolutions that are definitely worth adopting in 2022.

Heather Long

Q: Occupation?
A: VP of Marketing for a luxury retail group

Q: Location?
A: Miami

Q: What are your 2022 New Years Style Resolutions?
A: I recently moved from NY to Miami and made a change to remote work. Both of these shifts will influence my 2022 style. I am looking towards pieces that are timeless and constructed of quality, comfortable, easy to wear fabrics. I am leaning away from trends and of the moment styles and into pieces with longevity.

Q: Who are your style icon(s)? Why?
A: My friend Tal Waksal is always an inspiration. Her dressing is classic, cool and always has an element of fun.
I also follow handful of bloggers and love looks from Charlotte Groeneveld @fashionguitar and Viky Radar @vikyandthekid. Both are super chic, elevated while approachable and wearable.

Q: What items from VioletAndGrace.com are you currently coveting?
A: Violet x Grace black python tote, Moussy cut offs, Violet x Grace x IRO exclusive black leather jacket.

A:  Start wearing heals again!

Q: Who are your style icon(s)? Why?
A: Hailey Bieber, she can pull off so many looks and isn't scared to try. She can be a girly girl and dress glam or tom boy in her sweats and sneakers and still look amazing.

Q: What items from VioletAndGrace.com are you currently coveting?
A: The mixed diamond tennis necklace from SHAY ;), the Violet x Grace x IRO biker jacket, and the Alexandre Vauthier fringe dress

Ingrid Seynhaeve

Q: Occupation?
A: CEO/Co-founder of clothing brand JUNE7.2, Ex-model, Mom

Q: Location?
A: Between Miami and Paris

Q: What are your 2022 New Years Style Resolutions?
A: In 2022, I want to sport a new hairstyle: a big, bouncy, jaw-skimmer bob, whether it's flipped over to the side or worn in a middle part...it's every bit as chic as it is sexy.

Q: Who are your style icon(s)? Why?
A: The 2 bloggers I follow and love their looks are: @pernilleteisbaek and also @mvb. [They are] minimalist, chic [and] always look effortless and nonchalantly cool. I love solid colors like black/white and camel and a poppy red. Matching a high waisted or baggy jean with an oversized blazer with sneakers, or a pair of cool low boots and top that with a Chanel handbag. I love everything oversized–coats blazers, sweaters, tees, jeans and hoodies, and always [with] minimal hair and makeup and a good pair of sunglasses, like Garrett Leight. I love the looks of singer Lou Doillon, or the cool/chic bad boy/girl style of Caroline de Maigret, and model Erin Wasson.

Q: What items from VioletAndGrace.com are you currently coveting?
A: The Violet x Grace red python clutch. [It's a] minimalist bag and the softest python ever, gives that instant edge to your outfit and you can sport it day or night… a must have! And I do LOVE the red!

The Violet x Grace x IRO biker jacket. Your closet needs this staple.

Fleur du Mal's luxe triangle bra. [I] love everything from this brand. [They] are always very sensual in the fabrics and cut.

Earring Corporation's gold swirl earringLove the uniqueness of this earring, I would just wear it on one ear and I will definitely make a statement with it.

Garrett Leight's Calabar sunglasses. Can’t go wrong with aviators that are so chic and timeless.
